Wayne Rooney has declined the opportunity to give Erik ten Hag any advice amid sack pressure on the Manchester United boss. The Reds manager is facing scrutiny after a disappointing start to the season, albeit Ratcliffe, who is a minority owner at United, claimed he doesn't have a say on Ten Hag's position.
Rooney contradicts that view by suggesting Ratcliffe will likely play a key role in any decisions made. Commenting on Ten Hag's capabilities, the United legend, Rooney said: "Well that's obviously down to the owners of the football club to look at that.
