After Infamous "Slow" Jibe At Mitchell Starc, Yashasvi Jaiswal Bonds With Aus Legend. Watch

Yashasvi Jaiswal's exchanges with Mitchell Starc became a huge talking point during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year. During the first Test in Perth, Jaiswal had famously sledged Starc with a cheeky  "You're coming too slow" remark after taking him on for fun. However, Starc eventually had the last laugh as he dismissed Jaiswal three times during the hotly-contest series, which Australia eventually won 3-1 to reclaim the Border Gavaskar Trophy for the first time after 2015.

"What Has He Done Wrong?" Rahul Dravid's Rajasthan Royals Brutally Roasted For Super Over Call vs Delhi Capitals

Mitchell Starc produced a display of brilliant pace bowling as Delhi Capitals beat Rajasthan Royals in Super Over during their IPL 2025 encounter. Starc defended 9 runs in the final over of the match and in the Super Over, he conceded 11 runs to clinch the match for DC. While RR fell short of the victory, their decision to not send Nitish Rana for the Super Over was criticised heavily by former Australia cricketer Shane Watson. Rana was the top-scorer for RR with a 28-ball-51 but his side opted for Riyan Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shimron Hetmyer for the Super Over. Watson was livid with the decision and went on to ask what was Rana's fault that he was not given a chance to bat once again.

Nitish Rana Breaks Silence On Riyan Parag's Appointment As RR Stand-In Skipper Over Him

As Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson battled fitness issues at the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, Riyan Parag was given the team's leadership baton. Though Samson was fit to bat the first few games, he didn't have the fitness required to keep or be an outfield player. Hence, the management used him only as an Impact Player.
