Former Hamilton Accies boss Stuart Taylor is back in Scottish football after being announced as the new assistant manager at Dundee.

The Dens Park side are back in the Premiership next season following their Championship title win and recently appointed former Aberdeen assistant manager Tony Docherty as their new gaffer, following Gary Bowyer's shock exit.

This afternoon, the club announced a series of backroom appointments and Taylor will be Docherty's No.2 for the 2023/24 campaign.

Taylor had a protracted exit from Hamilton Accies at the end of last season, with the club and Taylor's representatives negotiating his release from the club throughout the summer.
