Hamilton Accies goalkeeper coach Brian Potter has left the club.
The 47-year-old, who had a spell on the books as a player at New Douglas Park between 2008-2011 and was also part of Raith Rovers' League Cup-winning squad that sunk Celtic in 1994, has been a familiar face around the club having served under several managers during his time in South Lanarkshire, including Billy Reid, Martin Canning, Brian Rice, Stuart Taylor and current boss John Rankin.
However, Potter has now called time on his spell to see a fresh challenge, leaving Accies on the hunt for a new coach. His former boss Brian Rice is now assistant at Livingston, who are looking for a new goalie coach themselves following Gary Maley's departure last week, and Brian's brother John is technical director at Raith Rovers.
Meanwhile, Lanarkshire Live Sport understands former Ayr United goalkeeper Charlie Albinson has agreed to join Accies on a two-year deal but it is understood delays in the SFA registration process are holding up his confirmed arrival at New Douglas Park. We revealed last month the shot-stopper was in talks with Accies.
Albinson's contract with Ayr expired on May 31 and until his deal goes through with Accies, he could still sign elsewhere.
Accies are also working hard behind the scenes to tie up Euan Henderson on a new deal. The forward, who scored 11 goals in 39 appearances last season and helped the club win promotion to the Championship, has been offered a new deal and Accies are awaiting his decision.
