A new angle of Mohamed Salah’s winning goal for Liverpool against Manchester City on Sunday shows Pep Guardiola’s reaction on the touchline.
Salah sealed all three points for the Reds at Anfield thanks to a moment of individual brilliance. The Egyptian’s run was spotted by goalkeeper Alisson, who picked his Liverpool teammate out with an inch-perfect long-range pass. Salah then span Joao Cancelo with a wonderful turn before slotting the ball past Ederson.
It was similar to the famous goal Salah scored against Manchester United in January 2020, months before Jurgen Klopp’s men got their hands on the Premier League trophy.
Like that goal, Salah’s latest strike could prove to be a hugely important one. Is this the moment that finally kick-starts Liverpool’s season?
