A man was arrested before being 'sent back home' after a flight from Germany to the United States was forced to stop in Manchester.
A Lufthansa flight from Munich had been on its way to Chicago on Monday evening (May 16). But the service had to divert before leaving Europe following an issue with a passenger.
The flight turned around above Ireland shortly before 5pm. It then made its way to Manchester Airport, where it landed at 5.53pm.
