Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti says the Italian club will 'see' what happens with key striker Lautaro Martinez amid transfer links to Manchester United.
United are in the hunt for reinforcements in the striking department this summer as Erik ten Hag seeks to bring in new players in the coming months at the top end of the pitch.
It is needed following the mid-season departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, and the January loan of Burnley's Wout Weghorst expected to not be continued.
United are understood to have pinpointed the likes of Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Goncalo Ramos of Benfica as among the priority targets to fill the gap upfront.
