The full list of nominations for the British Soap Awards 2023 has been announced, and fans can have their say on who should take home the prestigious awards.

The longlist of nominees was announced on Tuesday (April 11) and the first round of public voting is now open. As usual, fans can vote for their favourites in the Best Leading Performer and Best British Soap categories.

But for the first time since 2014, the Best Villain category has been returned to a public vote after being judged by a panel since 2015.

The Best Young Performer category has also switched back to a public vote.
