B&M has announced it will permanently close a number of its stores in May in a growing trend of high street closures. The earliest closure will take place at its Bishop Auckland branch which will shut down on Friday, May 5.
Following this, its Widnes location will close on May 17 before moving to a new site on May 24. Greater Manchester will also be affected by the upcoming closures, with the Burden Retail Park location in Bolton closing near the end of the month.
Despite the closures, the retail giant is also opening a number of new factors in many of the closed locations areas, the Mirror reports.
