Reports in Italy suggest that Fiorentina are interested in taking left-back Brandon Williams out on loan for a season this summer.

The defender has played just five minutes all campaign, coming on for a late cameo in December's League Cup Fourth Round win over Burnley.

The 22-year-old suffered injury for the first half of the season but has been offered almost no game time since recovering. Williams spent last season out on loan at Norwich City as they were relegated from the Premier League.

Williams has 12 months left on his contract albeit has the option for an additional year. ALSO READ: Henderson's United future takes new twist Now, Tutto Mercato (via Inside Futbol) says Serie A could come calling for the youngster.
