Billy Gilmour has been touted for a move away from Brighton & Hove Albion and Celtic would be an ideal location for him, according to a former English Premier League winner.

The former Rangers and Chelsea player has struggled for game time since moving to the south coast, however put in an eye-catching display in Brighton's 1-0 win over Manchester United last week.

Former Fulham and Man United full-back Paul Parker believes the Scotland international needs to move away from Roberto De Zerbi's side in order to get more game time.

Parker thinks he is capable of still playing in the Premier League but wouldn't rule out a move to Ange Postecoglou's side due to Gilmour's style of play.
