Manchester United are poised to wrap up the signing of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana. Talks are understood to have progressed well between both clubs over the last few days and an agreement over a fee has now been reached with his current club.
United will pay £43.8m with a potential £3.4m in add-ons with the shot-stopper now set to undergo a medical in the coming days.
Manager Erik ten Hag had identified Onana as his primary target to become the club's new first-choice goalkeeper after David de Gea's recent exit.
United, originally, were not planning to recruit a first-choice shot-stopper this summer, but an unexpected turn of events with De Gea's situation forced them to act.
