Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is convinced he and his new teammates will be able to bring glory back to Old Trafford.
Onana made his first start at the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday as the Reds beat Ligue 1 side Lens 3-1. The Cameroonian's afternoon got off to the worst possible start though as a loss of possession in defence led to Florian Sotoca lobbing the 'keeper from the halfway line.
United did manage to regroup in the second half and turned the scoreline on its head thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford, Antony and Casemiro.
After the match, Onana told the media he was happy to take on criticism for his performance after Lens' goal but on X (formerly Twitter) the 27-year-old remained undeterred by the long-term target.
