Todd Cantwell sent flying as Rangers star FLOORS Hibs boss Nick Montgomery and sends Philippe Clement into a rage

Furious Rangers boss Philippe Clement launched a tirade after Todd Cantwell was sent crashing into Hibs boss Nick Montgomery in the Easter Road dugout.

Ridvan Yilmaz had netted the opening goal in the capital but the Belgian boss wasn't pleased for long as he saw the Ibrox playmaker take an awkward off-field tumble during the Scottish Premiership clash. Kanayo Megwa and Elie Youan were chasing down the Rangers star and the Hibs duo scythed him down - before tumbling into the home dugout and taking out Montgomery in the process.

Clement instantly stepped out of his dugout and gestured in disbelief that the pressure had been allowed by referee Steven McLean. Cantwell went down holding his hamstring and it appeared he would be unable to continue - with the Englishman receiving treatment from the Rangers medical team. Whistler McLean would take Clement to the side and would urge him to calm down following the flashpoint.

Cantwell appeared to pull up just before he was taken out but he played on and scored a scorching second goal for Rangers but he failed to to emerge for the second half and could well have picked up a knock.
