Philippe Clement says the balance between fun and hard work has been key to his Rangers turnaround – revealing he ORDERED his stars to go out and enjoy themselves a few weeks ago.

Clement has put the smile back on many faces at Ibrox and the mood now is completely different to the dark days towards the end of Michael Beale's tenure. He has one trophy in the bag already and whispers of a Treble are rife with Rangers right back in the title picture and still in the Scottish Cup.

He says the fans have the right to dream but is keeping his stars focused on the next game. Yet that's not to say they can't go out and let their hair down now and again. In fact, the boss WANTS them to – and recently made sure of it. He said at his press conference ahead of Wednesday's Premiership clash with Ross County: "I said after a game a few weeks ago that I wanted them to go out together and they did and had a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun two days after also when it was training!

"So those things are also very important. Connections between people are so crucial. They need to work hard together but they need to count on each other also and be there when someone makes a fault. It's very important to have these human relationships also. In that way, it's a really amazing dressing room for the moment.

"The new players said it in their interviews, it's a really nice place to come into for the moment. It's good that we have the example for the beginning of the season where it was much more difficult and there was much more stress.
