Philippe Clement launches Rangers counter argument to Silva red card shouts as he urges doubters to look again

Phillipe Clement has told Rangers fans they’re right to start dreaming about a Treble - even if he’s refusing to get carried away.

The Ibrox side progressed to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 victory over Ayr United. And on Wednesday, they have the chance to go top of the Premiership against Ross County having clawed back a seven-point deficit to Celtic in the title race.

Clement never looks beyond the next game but has no problem with supporters visualising a Treble. After the win over Scott Brown’s side at Ibrox, he said: “Yes, they are right to dream because they are fans.

“So I hope they dream a lot.”

Clement was pleased with the team's display against a resilient Ayr and all focus now is on Ross County in midweek. A three-goal victory will take Rangers to the top of the league, overtaking Celtic for the first time in two years.

But Clement says he WON’T mention that to the players before kick-off. He said: “Will I mention to go top of the league? No, no. I don’t
