But wouldn't we just love to book our tickets to Euro 2024 without kicking another ball? That will be the case so long as the Spanish can avoid defeat in Oslo. Signing off from the international break on the high of qualifying would be a major bonus and it would allow us to look forward to a trip to Tbilisi without the creeping dread that fixture so easily inspires in Scottish hearts.
