The Met Office has issued its latest verdict on whether a heatwave is coming to Greater Manchester.

Hot temperatures are expected in parts of the UK later this week due to a 'tropical storm’.The forecaster has said storm Debby in North America is helping to ‘strengthen the jet stream’ which will bring a ‘hot and humid air mass’.

The storm is funnelling warm air towards the UK and Europe with temperatures set to soar back into the 30s this weekend in some areas.
