Weekend round-up as Welling United, Dartford and Chatham Town claim Isthmian Premier wins while Sittingbourne are also successful in Isthmian South East

Welling United moved up to second in the early Isthmian Premier table with a comfortable home win over Wingate & Finchley on Saturday.

Midfielder Zak O’Keefe gave Ryan Maxwell’s Wings, fresh from a dramatic 2-1 FA Cup first qualifying round replay victory over Faversham Town in midweek, the lead in the 15th minute.

Forward Scott Kashket equalised for the visitors but second-half goals by substitutes Jamie Reynolds and Ryan Kingsford were added to by forward Kaan Bennett in front of a crowd of 623 at Park View Road.

Welling have lost just twice in nine matches in all competitions this season.

They are level on points with fourth-placed Dartford, who consigned Carshalton to just a second league loss of the campaign.
