Kevin De Bruyne Man City transfer price tag emerges as Pep Guardiola reveal made

Manchester City will be hoping to enjoy another successful season under Pep Guardiola as the start of the new Premier League season edges closer.

The Sky Blues were again victorious in 2023/24, though are likely to face competition from Arsenal and Liverpool once more in the battle for top spot.

City may be looking to add further quality to their squad during the transfer window, as well as dealing with departures, ensuring Guardiola has the right players at his disposal to compete for the biggest prizes.

As the countdown to league action continues, we have rounded up some of the latest headlines relating to the Citizens.

Kevin De Bruyne price tag

City will reportedly demand £100million if Saudi Arabian clubs are serious about signing Kevin De Bruyne this summer.

It was claimed on Sunday that De Bruyne had agreed personal terms with Al-Ittihad, with discussions over a deal believed to be ongoing.

Conversations over how much City could make on their star midfielder have since developed and journalist Ben Jacobs believes a figure in the region of £100m could be required to get a deal done.

MEN Sport says: City could soon be faced with an awkward decision over what to do with De Bruyne should an offer worth £100m be forthcoming. Although the Belgian exiting would see Guardiola robbed of his chief creator, the player is out of contract next summer and will be turning 34 in 2025. Cashing in now would be a smart financial move, though there are great risks attached with this scenario.
