Greater Manchester's weather this weekend - and when heavy rain is set to roll in

After what felt like one of the only days of summer hitting Greater Manchester yesterday, many will be hoping this weekend will bring more sunshine after a June and July marred by rain.

A cloudier day but a mostly dry morning, says the forecaster. The weather will be turning unsettled later with rain from 3pm onwards and a risk of heavy showery outbreaks. Pleasant in the sunshine but not as warm than of late. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

Outbreaks of rain continuing this evening,
