Gary McAllister in gloomy Rangers title prediction as he drops allegiances to predict utter Celtic dominance

Former Rangers assistant boss Gary McAllister doesn't believe Celtic will blink in the title race and will leave Philippe Clement wanting.

The Belgian has had a transformative impact at Ibrox and the defeat at Celtic Park sees Rangers trail their eternal rivals by eight points with two matches in hand. It appears delicately poised but the man who worked alongside Steven Gerrard believes the green side of the city will be celebrating a 12th Scottish Premiership title in 13 seasons as reckons they won't drop ANY points. The Liverpool and Leeds hero has urged Rangers to blank their rivals to have any shot of reversing their fortunes.

McAllister, speaking to BoyleSports who offer the latest SPFL betting odds, said: "Rangers can't look at Celtic too much. They have to take games as they come and try to win as many of them as possible. If Celtic drop points, so be it, but Rangers can't hold their hopes on that. They have to concentrate on winning games. It's happened before - plenty of teams have come back from a deficit, but if I'm being truthful, I can't see Celtic dropping points."

And McAllister admits target Josh Doig has long been admired within Ibrox with the Hellas Verona left-back facing a call over a potential move to Ibrox. And his path back to Scotland could be aided by a potential exit for Ridvan Yilmaz after he was tipped to be Doig's replacement at the Serie A club.
