Coronation Street fans point out the same Adam blunder as Sarah 'confirms' baby daddy

Coronation Street fans think they have spotted the same blunder by Adam Barlow after he was told he is the father of his wife's unborn baby. The solicitor has had doubts about the paternity of the unborn child after Sarah Barlow admitted to having an affair.

Sarah found out she is pregnant after sleeping with Damon Hay behind her husband's back. She told her stunned other half the news but didn't get the best reception as the solicitor wanted to know if it was his or Damon's.

During the latest trip to the cobbles on Wednesday night (July 12), Sarah tried to broach the subject of the paternity test to Adam but he refused to entertain it. But later, during a court case, Adam attempted to make his client's case but started to sweat, shake and lose focus before dashing from the courtroom.

Dee-Dee Bailey quickly headed to find her colleague who had clearly suffered a panic attack amid the strain of his relationship with Sarah. Unable to find him, Dee-Dee visited Sarah and told her what happened. She later found a distressed and vulnerable Adam curled up on the sofa who then explained that his panic stemmed from fears about not being the baby’s father.

Sarah instinctively told him he has no reason to worry. However, Adam misunderstood and assumed she had the paternity test results back that confirmed he was in fact the father. Sarah then carried on the lie and said the clinic phoned to confirm that he’s the dad. Adam's mood quickly turned around. He then headed off to the shop and bumped into Daniel, telling him the news.
