Alison Hammond gives massive clue to job that caused her injury as fans rush to respond to Dermot O'Leary post

Alison Hammond appears to have given a massive clue to the job that she recently revealed had given her a painful injury. During her latest stint on This Morning, she and co-host Dermot O'Leary kicked things off in their usual energetic fashion.

But Alison 48, was left warning Dermot, 50, to 'be careful' as their high-five didn't help the fact she had caused some damage to her hand during some work away from the ITV daytime show. She asked Dermot: "Did you notice how I could only slap you with that one? I've had an injury with my thumb."

She added: "I was doing a photoshoot – I won't tell you what it's for – and I had to stay in a position for three hours, believe it or not, and I've damaged my thumb. I don't think you can actually see it," before the camera showed an up-close image of her thumb.

"It's just really swollen, just be careful with me today, be gentle," she pleaded, before Dermot joked that she was photographed for the famous Playboy Centrefold as Alison burst into laughter. Alison joked that she couldn't reveal what the photoshoot was for before Dermot teased that it was well worth the wait, saying it is "very exciting!"

And later on Wednesday (July 12), it appears Alison gave a hint at something she has been up to. She shared a picture to her millions of followers showing her hand above her handprint in what appeared to be clay-like material.
