The areas of Greater Manchester with the worst drivers revealed

An area of Bolton is home to more bad drivers than anywhere else in Greater Manchester. A new map has revealed where the worst drivers are across the UK - with more than one in 10 drivers in some areas carrying points on their licence.

There are 722 drivers with six or more points on their licence in the BL1 postcode area - covering Bolton town centre, Smithills, Halliwell and Heaton.

The BL3 postcode area - which includes Little Lever, Great Lever, Darcy Lever and Deane - has the region's next highest number of drivers with six or more points on their licences - 624.

The area with the third highest number of drivers with six or more points was SK8 (Stockport) with 571.
