A new awards evening to support disadvantaged and disabled kids across Greater Manchester and the North West is being launched by children’s charity Variety.

Each year the charity hosts the national PROPS Awards, which have helped raise more than £10m for children. This year Variety is hosting a regional version, the NW PROPS Awards.

It will take place at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate on November 30. The new ceremony builds on the success of other popular events run by the charity in the North West, including the Legends of Industry dinner.

Lyn Staunton, Development Director for Variety, said: “The PROPS is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable events that we run, giving business owners the chance to have an exciting night while giving back to those who really need it in their own region.
