Marseille's Velodrome to host France v Ireland in 2024 Six Nations

Ireland's opening match of the 2024 Guinness Six Nations will be held in Marseille, it has been has confirmed.Six Nations confirmed that the opening game of the tournament will take place in the Orange Velodrome in Marseille, venue of the 2022 Heineken Champions Cup final in which Leinster lost to La Rochelle.Defending Grand Slam champions Ireland will face Les Bleus on Friday 2 February with an 8pm kick-off.The stadium has a capacity of 67,394 and is home to football club Olympique Marseille.
