Man United flop Memphis Depay set for surprise transfer after La Liga exit

Former Manchester United forward Memphis Depay is reportedly set to join Brazilian side Corinthians. Depay joined United from PSV Eindhoven in 2015 when Louis van Gaal was manager at Old Trafford.

The Dutch winger enjoyed a bright start with two goals and an assist in just his third game for the club against Club Brugge in a Champions League qualifier.

But the Dutchman failed to fulfil his potential at United before being sold to Olympique Lyon in 2017. He has since enjoyed spells at Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in La Liga, leaving the latter this summer after a single season.
