Maidstone have signed forward Lamar Reynolds from Braintree. Reynolds, a product of Jamie Vardy’s V9 Academy, helped the Iron reach the National League South play-offs this season.

The 27-year-old played with Stones boss George Elokobi while on loan at Leyton Orient from League 2 club Newport County in the 2017/18 National League season.

The pair have stayed in touch and Reynolds becomes the latest attacking arrival following the signing of Razzaq Coleman De-Graft from Lewes on Friday. “We are thrilled to have Lamar Reynolds joining our team,” said Elokobi. “He is an exciting player who possesses great potential. “Lamar’s flair, versatility and hunger to succeed will undoubtedly enhance our attacking options.” Reynolds’ other former clubs include Thurrock, Brentwood, Dagenham and Concord.
