Liverpool fans have joined in unison with supporters at Celtic by telling the Royal Family to stick the coronation where the sun doesn't shine.

A clip from last weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final win over Rangers has gone viral, showing fans of the Premiership champions singing 'shove your coronation up your a***' ahead of King Charles III's ceremony on Saturday afternoon.

It has been discussed on new channels in the week building up to the royal event and in its aftermath, Liverpool fans have had their say.

Their club confirmed that they would play God Save the King prior to their Premier League match with Brentford. But the anthem was drowned out by mass booing and chants of "Liv-er-pool" before the club PA swiftly moved onto You'll Never Walk Alone.
