Lee Johnson is facing a hefty ban at the start of next season as the SFA get set to sift through the wreckage from Saturday’s Tynecastle Derby battle.
The Hibs boss copped a red card after the final whistle in the Edinburgh stalemate as Hearts sealed fourth spot in the Premiership – along with defender Rocky Bushiri, Jambos goalie coach Paul Gallacher and back up keeper Ross Stewart – after seeming to spark the huge brawl.
Johnson appeared to swing a dig at Gorgie counterpart Steven Naismith before players and staff from both sides piled in. Hibs also accused a Hearts fan in the stands of striking defender Marijan Cabraja while a hot water bottle was also lobbed at Johnson, apparently from the Jambos' dugout.
The SFA are set to wade into the fallout on Monday with referee Don Robertson’s report due to land and the Hampden compliance officer Martin Black poised to pour over the footage.
