Jose Cifuentes agent gets Rangers VIP treatment as takes in Celtic showdown and gets training ground tour

Jose Cifuentes is close to becoming Michael Beale's third signing as Rangers manager and it looks to have taken a step closer after the MLS star's agent was given the VIP treatment at Ibrox.

The Ecuadorian midfielder looks set to sign a long-term deal at Ibrox as Beale looks to rebuild his squad ahead of next season.

Ahead of a potential move to Govan Cifuentes' agent Stefan Jarrin attended the Scottish Premiership game against Celtic on Saturday and was given a tour around the training facilities at the Rangers Training Centre.

Cifuentes, who plays for Los Angeles FC, has made secret that he wants to head to Europe to ply his trade one day and that dream looks closer to becoming a reality.

The construction at the international stadium at Narsingarh began way back in 2017 with an estimated cost of Rs. 185 crore but the stadium is not yet ready. "IPL chairman Arun Kumar Dhumal recently visited the proposed international stadium at Narsingarh on the outskirts of the state capital. He said if the stadium's is ready before February next year, it could be made second home ground of KKR or some else other state will get the benefit," TCA secretary Subarta Dey told PTI.
