Jamie Carragher insists he's not a hypocrite after being accused of going quiet on his views about Saudi Arabia when Steven Gerrard moved to the Middle East.
The Liverpool icon watched as his former team mate sealed a money-spinning move to Al-Ettifaq this month, leaving behind his two spells in the dugout with Aston Villa and Rangers for the lucrative Saudi Pro League.
Gerrard moved to suggest he had a "lot in common" with his new club as he met the media, and ex-England colleague Rio Ferdinand called out the Sky Sports mouthpiece for being 'silent' over Gerrard's move after previously accusing the Middle Eastern league of 'sportswashing'.
Carragher launched a blast on the ever-growing division after the likes of Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, notwithstanding Celtic's Jota, made the move to clubs with high wage packets and big transfer fees.
