Two second-half goals proved decisive as Margate posted back-to-back Isthmian Premier wins for the first time this season on Saturday, defeating Canvey 2-0.

Both sides were reduced to 10 men early in the second half as first Gate's Sam Blackman and then Mason Hall collected second yellow cards.

Korrey Henry put Margate ahead after Cameron Brodie's effort was saved and Ben Greenhalgh added a second goal nine minutes from time.

Herne Bay failed to take advantage of a first-half red card for hosts Bognor as they lost 2-1 at Nyewood Lane. James Crane put Bognor ahead but Kieron Campbell equalised within three minutes.
