Greater Manchester weather forecast as region celebrates Eid al-Fitr

There could be spots of rain across Greater Manchester which may dampen some Eid celebrations, according to forecasts. Over the past few days, the city has been treated to a lovely break from the wet and gloomy weather as sunshine blanketed the sky accompanied by warm temperatures.

However, today (April 21) will be the last chance this week to catch some rays as temperatures begin to drop and overcast conditions make a comeback.

The Met Office has also predicted a small chance of showery conditions throughout the morning and early afternoon which may catch some people off guard.
