The death of a man in Salford is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed. A murder investigation was launched after the man died following a 'disturbance' at a property on Seedley Road on Friday afternoon (May 5).
The man was found with serious injuries at first, but sadly died in hospital. Officers arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of murder following the death.

Enquiries into the circumstances of his death are continuing and a file will be prepared for the coroner. Detective Chief Inspector Liz Hopkinson from GMP Major Incident Team said: "Following extensive enquiries, we can now confirm that the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and the 52-year-old man who was initially arrested has been released pending further enquiries.
