Coleen Nolan has commended her "elegant" friend and fellow Loose Women panellist Ruth Langsford, for the way she's handled her separation from Eamonn Holmes.

In a statement that shocked fans back in May, a representative announced that the couple had started divorce proceedings after 14 years of marriage.

It was further stated that the duo, who share 22-year-old son Jack together, hoped to remain friends and maintain an amicable relationship.

Ruth, 64, has not spoken publicly about the break-up, while Eamonn, 64, expressed gratitude to his supporters on GB News shortly after the news was announced.
