Coleen Nolan's advice 'ignored' by Ruth Langsford as she breaks silence on marriage split

Coleen Nolan has commended her "elegant" friend and fellow Loose Women panellist Ruth Langsford, for the way she's handled her separation from Eamonn Holmes.

In a statement that shocked fans back in May, a representative announced that the couple had started divorce proceedings after 14 years of marriage.

It was further stated that the duo, who share 22-year-old son Jack together, hoped to remain friends and maintain an amicable relationship.

Coleen also shared that she had offered advice to her co-star, but claims Ruth had chosen not to take it on board.

"I've given her advice but she doesn't listen to me, I'm going, 'How can you not say anything?' But I don't need to give her advice," Coleen shared with Woman Magazine.

The former singer went on to say that she still regularly ensures she checks in with Ruth, adding: "I just love her and I'm in awe of how
