Popular Italian restaurant Cibo has closed its original Wilmslow site temporarily - amid major expansion plans in the Cheshire town.
Bosses announced the closure of its original celebhaunt venue this week, saying the restaurant is closed to diners until "early September".
Owners have taken over adjacent buildings to both the side and rear in Wilmslow town centre as they progress with major building works.
They are in the midst of creating Cibo Gran Cafe in the former Holland and Barrett shop which fronts onto Grove Street. Meanwhile the restaurant itself had plans approved earlier this year to expand into the adjacent unit to extend their popular all-weather terrace area on Green Lane.
