Fiorentina 'set Sofyan Amrabat deadline' amid Manchester United interest and more transfer rumours

manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Fiorentina will try to keep Sofyan Amrabat on board for the new season if they do not receive a serious bid in the next three days, according to reports in Italy.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for the Moroccan, with manager Erik ten Hag keen to strengthen in midfield.

The Dutchman saw his side torn apart in the middle of the park during Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Tottenham, and that area has been identified as the priority between now and September 1.

Amrabat attracted widespread interest during the World Cup, helping his Morocco side become the first from Africa to reach the semi-finals.
