Manchester United only announced the appointment of Ruben Amorim at midday on Friday, but pundits have already been making their opinions known on the club's new head coach for days.
Amorim agreed to take over from Erik ten Hag on Monday, the same day his predecessor left, and the clubs then negotiated a deal by Wednesday.
There are still ten days until the new coach officially joins, with interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy taking charge of the three matches before then.
Pundits then have plenty more time to opine about the decision with an international break to come before his first match later this month.
