This chilling footage shows police cars beside a field where an eight-year-old boy died after being shot in the head. Emergency services rushed to the scene at the remote farm in the Warcop area of Cumbria at around 2.50pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday, September 28).
The boy was rushed to hospital in an air ambulance. Tragically, he died overnight having suffered injuries to his head and face.

He remains in police custody but is now under arrest on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. Locals have now described seeing officers and paramedics 'purposefully marching' across the small field, just off the A66, not long after the shooting.
