Calvin Bassey has congratulated Dujon Sterling on his arrival at Rangers with the club's famous quotes. The Nigerian international left Ibrox last summer in a club-record deal to Ajax , but has kept the club that took a chance on him following a stint in the Leicester City youth ranks close to his heart.

And he's been delighted by their latest signing, right-back Sterling after he brought a lengthy stint with Chelsea to an end after time on loan at Stoke City.

He comes in to push captain James Tavernier for a starting XI berth and has received a warm well done from Bassey. Taking to his Instagram page, the Ajax defender called upon the famous 'We are the Famous' message to tell Sterling 'all the best bro #WATP.' The initial Instagram post from Michael Beale's new Rangers recruit read: "Excited to join this amazing club with the most incredible fans!

I can’t wait for the season ahead!" After debuting for Chelsea in 2017, the full-back has spent time on loan at Coventry, Wigan, Blackpool and Stoke.
