The incredible moment Ellie Leach's packed hometown pub erupts as she wins Strictly Come Dancing

This is the goosebumps moment when Ellie Leach's hometown pub found out she had WON Strictly Come Dancing 2023. The pub in Audenshaw was packed with Ellie's family, friends and former Corrie co-stars all cheering her on to victory on Saturday night.

The nail-biting moment just before she was announced as winner with her dance partner Vito Coppola was captured in this truly heartwarming video at The Snipe Pub in Audenshaw. The pub then erupts in cheers when Strictly host Tess Daly named Ellie and Vito as the winners.

Ellie's family and friends, including her former Coronation Street co-star Colson Smith and her famous Corrie cousin Brooke Vincent, are all seen assembled around the TV at the pub waiting for the results. The video was captured by another of Ellie's cousins, Maisie McDermott.

Brooke, who played Corrie's Sophie Webster, is seen literally biting her nails as she nervously awaits the result. Behind her Corrie's Colson, who plays Craig Tinker, is seen glued to the screen.

One friend has her head in her hands, while another pal is hugging Brooke waiting for the result to be announced. Then, when Tess announces the names of Ellie and Vito, the pub erupts.

There are whoops, cheers, people hugging each other and many even in tears as the emotional Strictly final came to its head. Brooke and Colson are seen punching the air and jumping up and down in delight. Then, as the result begins to sink in, chants of "Ellie, Ellie" grow around the pub.
