BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Adam Thomas says 'I didn't mess about' as he ditches UK after wife's words
Adam Thomas has told his fans he 'didn't mess about' as he was seen ditching the UK. The actor was seen live on our TV screens over the weekend as he returned to Strictly Come Dancing for the grand final.
The BBC One dance contest's class of 2023 returned to the ballroom for one last group dance as this year's series came to a close. The final saw Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell battle it out to be this year's champions.
It saw Adam reunited with his dance partner Luba Mushtuk as well as his fellow celebrity contestants including Les Dennis, Zara McDermott, Eddie Kadi, Nigel Harman, Angela Rippon and Annabel Croft.

But just days later and it appears Adam jumped straight onto a plan as he's now soaking up some pre-Christmas alone time in Dubai. Taking to his Instagram Story, the Waterloo Road star shared a video of himself as he walked down the beach as the sun started to set.
Speaking to the camera, Adam, 35, shared how his trip appeared to be prompted by his wife, Caroline. He said: "When the wife says that you can have a couple of nights away on your own, I didn't mess about. I was on the next plane out of there. Just landed in Dubai, just in time to watch the sunset."
He then quipped: "I've got to say though, it does feel a bit weird being away without he family... But I think I'll get used to it," before he burst into his trademark laugh. He then shared a video from the beach as the waves crashed and the sun set, creating a burning orange sky.
