A fact-finding TV fan has figured out why Ellie Leach's Strictly Come Dancing win was 'sealed' the moment Sam Thompson won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. The former Coronation Street star and ex-Made In Chelsea cast member won their respective shows within a week of one another.

After three weeks in the jungle, where he formed some special bromances with the likes of JLS star Marvin Humes and retired boxer Tony Bellew and took on various Bushtucker trials and challenges, Sam emerged victorious after making it to the final with Tony and Nigel Farage.

Meanwhile, after 12 weeks of learning how to dance with professional dance partner Vito Coppola, the pair made it through to the final where they went up against Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.

After all three couples made it to the end of the 2023 run of the competition and to be in with a chance of winning, they had to perform three dances each - their favourite from the series, the judges' pick and a 'show dance' which showcased everything they had learnt in the past three months.

But it was Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, who emerged victorious as the public got behind them and voted from them to take the Strictly 2023 champions title and life the Glitterball trophy.
