Several taken to hospital as emergency services attend serious house fire in Cardiff
Several people have been taken to hospital as emergency services respond to a serious house fire in Caerau, Cardiff.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed that seven people are injured, and one was rescued from a burning house in the early hours of this morning, April 29.
South Wales Police issued a statement at around 7am Tuesday morning saying it was at the scene of an ongoing incident on Treseder Way in Caerau, Cardiff. It said: "There is currently a heavy emergency service presence in the area. Please avoid the area if you can. We're grateful for your patience."
Emergency services were sent to the incident at 3.45am. It's understood residents were in the house as the fire spread. Firefighters, police and ambulance were all called to the scene. Police remain in the area.
