Police are in attendance on a major south Manchester road following a collision involving a pedestrian.
Emergency services are on Princess Road, in Withington, after a person was hit by a vehicle.
Images from the scene show a large police presence in attendance this afternoon (May 7).
Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to the scene, opposite Hough End Leisure Centre, at around 11.50am.
One person has been treated for injuries at the scene. It's believed the injuries are serious.
Queues are building on the southbound carriageway of the A5103 Princess Road in Fallowfield and Withington while emergency services deal with the incident.
The incident is affecting traffic heading south from Manchester city centre towards the M56.
