Manager Lee Martin believes Ramsgate must be at full strength if they are to challenge for another promotion.
The Rams have taken 11 points from five Isthmian Premier games since Martin succeeded Ben Smith at Southwood.
Having been just outside the bottom four when Martin took the reins, they look capable of a play-off challenge.
But injuries threaten to derail the Isthmian South East champions’ hopes of a top-five finish and Martin has called for more robustness in the squad.
Tenth-placed Ramsgate maintained their unbeaten record under Martin with a 2-2 draw at Whitehawk on Saturday.
Billy Munday scored twice as the visitors came from behind to lead 2-1 but the hosts levelled in the second half.
Benny Bioletti (heel), Ben Mundele (groin), Tom Clifford (shoulder) and Donvieve Jones (quad) were among those missing at Whitehawk, while Lewis Gard was fit enough only for the bench as he contends with sciatica.
Martin was able to sign defender Leo Young on loan from AFC Wimbledon and will consider further moves with chairman James Lawson if injuries drag on.
Bioletti, who was ruled out for four-to-six weeks is the furthest away from fitness but the other injured players should be on their way back imminently, with Rams hosting St Albans at Southwood this Saturday (3pm).
“We’re bobbing up and down and until we can get the boys back fit and ready I don’t think we can sustain a real push for the play-offs,” said Martin, whose side sit five points outside the top five having played more games.
“That’s my belief. We want it, we want to challenge, but we need boys to be fit and out there playing.
