Folkestone Invicta took another big step towards promotion after winning their Isthmian Premier derby at Dartford.

It’s now nine wins in a row for Jay Saunders’ side, who kept up their record of scoring in every game this season when Joe Pigott put them ahead from a tight angle just past the half-hour.

Ade Yusuff added the second with 10 minutes left before substitute Samir Carruthers pulled one back for the Darts late on with a spectacular free-kick.

Rowan Liburd’s first-half finish set them on their way and Fumnaya Shomotun doubled their advantage early in the second half.

Late goals from Cem Tumkaya and Liam Moore added gloss to the final scoreline with Wingate replying through substitute Ayyuba Jambang in stoppage time.

Burgess Hill raced into a three-goal lead inside 17 minutes through Ben Pope, Reggie Ward and Max Fiddes.

But Ramsgate hit back through Billy Munday and then a Raphe Brown header two minutes into the second half.

It was 3-3 on 61 minutes when Alfie Paxman equalised from the penalty spot but Chris Whelpdale bagged what proved to be the winner five minutes later.

Welling United’s home game with bottom side Potters Bar was postponed prior to kick-off at Park View Road.

“Today's fixture against Potters Bar Town has been postponed,” said a Welling United statement.
